About

Hi! I’m Rachel, a writer, editor, translator, proofreader and curator, currently based in London. In 2022, I completed my MA degree in Curating the Art Museum at The Courtauld Institute of Art, during which I undertook a curatorial placement at the Victoria and Albert Museum and co-curated with fellow students the inaugural exhibition at the Zaha Hadid Foundation, ‘Zaha Hadid: Reimagining London‘.

Prior to this, I studied French and German at the University of Cambridge for my BA degree, specialising in feminist and postcolonial studies and writing on representations of gender in art. I’m particularly interested in histories of migration and I’m committed to making art accessible.

As an editor, translator and proofreader, I specialise in the fields of art and design, often reviewing interpretative materials for exhibitions or art books. I translate from French and German into English and enjoy crafting lucid prose. Recent clients include Only Today and Art Explora.
